Our bodies are pretty good at detoxifying themselves but sometimes it can be an overwhelming process since toxins invade our bodies on a daily basis. These toxins can be from air, food, medications and water. There are some things that you can do that will aid in detoxifying your body.

Eating foods that are organic is a great way to detox your body. This is a great option because they are free of pesticides and nasty toxins. If you cannot find organic food in your area, the next best thing is to pick produce that has thick skin that you are able to easily peel off.

Herbal teas are perfect for detoxifying your body. Drink green tea or chamomile tea. These teas are great for aiding in digestive problems and promote a good night’s sleep. In addition, herbal teas also assist in getting rid of toxins from your body and help to stimulate your circulation.

Eat Some Raw Veggies
Eating raw veggies are a great detox tool. Veggies including beets, broccoli, carrots, onions, asparagus, cabbage and brussel sprouts. These vegetables will help to clean out your body and rid the body of harmful toxins. These foods are also great blended up as a juice.

Getting in at least 30 minutes of physical exercise each day will help you sweat. Sweating will get rid of harmful toxins from your body, especially heavy metals.

A liquid fast is where you drink nothing but liquids for three days. Liquids consist of protein shakes, water, vegetable juice, fruit juice and tea.

Be sure that you drink lots of water. Not only is this essential for your health but it assists in helping your kidneys get rid of toxins. If you don’t like the taste of plain water, add lemon or lime slices. The citrus from the lemon or lime will help to reduce body fat as well.
